I must say I couldn't have asked for a better horse. Mya is simply perfect for me and what I want to do! We had a big grooming day. Lots of brushing and tons of horse hair! Spring has sprung and Mya is shedding like crazy. I have also begun teaching a riding lesson on her for one of my young cousins. She has behaved wonderfully for this horse crazy beginner. :)

With the weather getting better by the day, its nice to be able to get outside again. With Mya it has been amazing how with the right food and care she is looking awesome! She is turning out to be a great riding horse. It just goes to show that any horse can turn out great. I'm so proud of her. :)

 

 

 

Spring is Coming!

With spring on its way it tends to make everyone a little happier and a little more cheerful. There is nothing like picking those first dandelions. (and feeding them to my eager bunnies)
Mya has been making wonderful progress. With the correct feeding she is gaining her weight back, and her coat is starting to develop a healthy look. One step at a time, but we are getting there!

 

 

The other day I was driving by a yard sale and saw an English saddle for sale. Well I couldn't resist. Its not fancy, just an all-purpose one but it will work.
