Meet the Horses

Bucky

Bucky is a 7 year old hackney gelding. He has a rough history. He was rescued from a kill pen where he was extremely emaciated. Consequently, he has a lot of issues to work through. However, underneath the scars left by his past life, I believe there is a heart that is worth its weight in gold. I am excited to see where our journey together takes us!
Scotty

Scotty is a fun loving 5 year old miniature gelding. He is both sweet and spunky! He is in the process of learning to pull a pony cart, and I think he is going to make a great kids pony!

Lady

I got Lady in May of 2014. She is a quarter horse, or as I like to say a quarter pony because she is only 14hh. She is 15 years old. She was badly foundered by her previous owners and is only pasture sound. She spends her days happily wondering our fields. Lady has a sassy personality but will put up with just about anything. (though she might give you a "look" here and there!)

Mya

I got Mya in February of 2012. She was my first horse and a "dream come true". I had always dreamed of owning a horse and that wish was fulfilled in Mya. Mya is a mare who is around 15yrs (we later discovered she was more likely 20-25) and about 15.3hh. She's mostly quarter horse with a hint of arabian. She is a bit of a wonder horse with many talents from barrel racing to jumping. I ride her mostly english.

Mya was a 15yr old Quarter Horse mare, and she is 15.3hh tall. I got her back in February of 2012, and she is my very first horse. Mya has many talents. (For instance barrel racing...) But her favorite way of riding is english. She is a sweet and spunky horse! I would describe her as a horse with more "go" than "whoa".
